Built by the company that already connects commerce.
Pippen is made by Pipe17, the order operations platform that sits between the storefronts, marketplaces, ERPs and warehouses a brand runs. An agent that has to see every system belongs with the people who have spent years connecting them.
What a business knows about itself is scattered.
A growing brand runs a storefront, a marketplace or two, an ERP or accounting system, a 3PL and a support desk — and none of them agree with each other. Some of what the business knows is in Shopify, some in the ERP, some in a spreadsheet nobody owns any more, and a surprising amount in three people's heads.
Every platform now ships an assistant, and each one answers about its own system. The questions that cost money are the ones between systems: does the inventory in the store match the warehouse, which orders are about to oversell, why that SKU always ships a week late.
Answering those takes something that sees all of the systems at once, and that keeps looking after the tab is closed.
An operator that shows its work.
Pippen reads what your systems know, holds what your team tells it, and gives it back when it matters — with the rows it read attached, so you can check it rather than trust it.
It earns responsibility in steps. On day one it only reads: it answers and it watches. When it prepares a change — a fix for a stuck order, a reorder, a customer email — a person approves it before anything is written, and every action lands in one audit trail.
The weekly review is the same idea in a smaller frame: twelve checks, the same twelve, run against current data every week. Not because twelve is magic, but because a review that changes shape every week tells you nothing about whether the business changed.
Pipe17, and this is the third Pippen.
Pipe17 is the order operations platform for brands and 3PLs: more than 300 managed connectors and intelligent order management, and years of learning how orders, inventory and fulfillment data actually behave as they move between systems. Pipe17 is a founding member of the Commerce Operations Foundation and co-author of its Order Network eXchange (onX) standard — a common language for agents doing exactly this work.
The first Pippen lived inside the Pipe17 platform, resolving exceptions and generating routing rules. This one stands on its own: any brand can sign up and connect its stack, whatever it runs, and Pipe17 customers connect in one click. 3PLs and other commerce providers can build their own agents on the same infrastructure.
